25: Curt talks with a professor at the dance. The professor says "maybe I was scared" and encourages Curt to leave and "experience life, have some fun." A school girl calls the professor Bill and they go off and speak intimately. Curt hopes to meet the blonde in the t-bird but makes a mistake. Milner drives with Carol. The birth of something new.

45: THX 138 on Milner's parked car at Mel's. Milner and Carol eat. Al asks for car help. Tension and turbulence as Milner and Carol argue and Carol leaves. Milner tracks Carol down and they drive off. Tiger/Toad gets a bottle from the thief robbing the liquor store. Now that I'm aware.

60: Milner and Carol attack the girls who threw the water balloon. Milner takes the air out, Carol sprays shaving cream. Johnny B. Goode plays. There's no going back now.

-45: Curt is with the Pharaohs. Curt speaks to the men financing his college tuition and the Pharaohs steal coins from the pinball machines. Discovery.

-25: Harrison Ford and Cindy Williams get together. Music: "...since I don't have you..." Music helps tell the story. Cindy to HF: "Don't say anything and we'll get along just fine." Carol and John say good-night. Later, HF sings Some Enchanted Evening. At the end, Milner wins the race against HF and Curt leaves. Epilogues tell their future. The final turning point.
