A Fistful of Dollars

This was based on Kurosawa's Yojimbo, and if you like Yojimbo see Sanjuro.

25: Joe (Clint) and his friend observe the cavalry meeting with some soldiers. We see a chest full of gold for the first time. Ramon uses a Gatling gun to mow down about 20 guys. The birth of something new.

45: Two factions shoot at each other at a cemetery thanks to Joe. Clint is in the wine cellar and finds the gold. Now that I'm aware.

-45: The mother and her son hug in the town's square as the husband runs to them and they hug. A tough guy threatens them. Clint's friend aims a shotgun at the tough guy. Clint tells the mother to leave with Ramon's men and tells the father to take his son home where he belongs. Moments later, Clint discovers how Ramon got the wife to live with him as a hostage, and how they forced the husband to accept things. Discovery.

60: Pretending to be drunk, Joe gets up from the bed and heads across some hills to reach the family that is torn apart thanks to Ramon. Clint kills about 6 guys, gives the family gold, and tells them to travel far and don't come back. There's no going back now.

-25: Clint is badly injured after a beating as he hides from Ramon's men. He crawls under a building and observes them beat up his friend. Eventually, Clint will face off against Ramon and others and resolve matters using a shield and a gun. The final turning point.
