One of Hitchcock's early movies.
25: Iris says good-bye to her friends - she's off to marry someone she's not thrilled about. Miss Froy, a kindly old woman, asks a question, drops something, and walks away. Iris picks up the item and as she hands it to her she's hit on the head by a fallen object meant to kill Miss Froy. Iris is hurt but they board the train. Miss Froy assures Iris's friends she'll take care of Iris. The birth of something new.
45: Iris can't find Miss Froy, Froy is replaced by someone else who lies about helping Iris. Dr. Hartz misdirects Iris - he tells her she's only imagining Ms. Froy. Gilbert escorts Iris as they meet someone who also lies, causing Iris to believe Miss Froy doesn't exist. Now that I'm aware.
-45: (50): We see the word "Froy" on the window as Iris talks with Gilbert. Gilbert attempts to lay on the charm but Iris tells him she's to be married. Gilbert talks about his father, Iris remembers her talk about tea with Miss Froy. Fun banter here: Him: "Do you like me?" Her: "Not much." When Iris discovers "Froy" on the window she starts raising her voice "She's on the train!" and reaching out to passengers to stop the train. She pulls a handle and stops the train. Discovery.
60: Iris and Gilbert fight off the magician and place him in a large box. They know he is involved in Miss Froy's kidnapping. The magician escapes through a false bottom. They decide to go to Dr. Hartz for help. Iris notices the nun's high heels, the nun sits beside a person with her face hidden - could this be Miss Froy? Dr. Hartz stops them from finding out. There's no going back now.
-25: Dr. Hartz tells the nun Iris and Gilbert know she's not a nun. Dr. Hartz pulls a gun on Iris and Gilbert and tells them their drinks were drugged. They collapse and Dr. Hartz leaves. Gilbert faked it and climbs into another compartment. Eventually Miss Froy is found and Iris and Gilbert become a pair. The final turning point.
